Ensuring I am meeting professional standards and keeping students safe, all whilst having fun and learning loads
I feel it is vital to have this Safeguarding page to make sure you feel safe and valued, whether you’re the adult or the young person in your household, and know that - as much as Tutoring has no regulations - I am respecting and honouring my Teacher standards to ensure safety and trust.
I have undergone statutory Safeguarding and Child Protection training in my career, and make it a compulsory part of my business to remain up-to-date with current legislation.
All professionals who work with children and young people are responsible for protecting and promoting their health and wellbeing and ensuring that they are not at risk of harm. As a practitioner I take this seriously and it is an integral part of what I do.
I have Disclosure and Barring (DBS) clearance.
